Jeff Pirtle

After earning my B.A. in History ('94) and my M.A. in Museum Science ('97) from Tech, I moved to the DFW area to work at the Amon Carter Museum, then as the Museum and Archives Project Manager for the J.C. Penney corporate headquarters in Plano. In 2002, I moved to Los Angeles to work in the Archives & Collections department of Universal Studios and left in 2022 as Director of NBCUniversal Archives & Collections. Since 2022 I've been Director of The Texas Collection, University Archives and W. R. Poage Library at Baylor University. My wife Eleanor (an Aggie I met in L.A.) and I have a 13-year-old son Robert. I loved my time as a Sigma Chi at Tech!
