Building With Brothers Who Build For a Living

Our construction estimate, timeline, and the Epsilon Nu alumni in charge of getting it right.

Construction Cost Estimate

Trey Strong, Epsilon Nu 2000, owner of Trey Strong Custom Homes and co-owner of West Texas Land Guys, coordinated with Teinert Construction of Lubbock in 2023 to estimate the construction costs for the new chapter house. The effort produced an all-inclusive itemized list with expected expenses of $6M. In an effort to be conservative, Trey purposely overestimated our costs to build, considering future construction material values.

Dave Cravens, Epsilon Nu 1976, who has decades of commercial construction management experience, in his role as Chairman of our Building Committee has worked to refine the estimate, create alternatives to the original proposals, and economize the construction costs. With today's economic conditions, the estimate still approaches $6M. Work in this area is ongoing.
