Jim White

Arguably Epsilon Nu Fall ‘74’s bravest initiate, Jim White continues to serve as our Undergraduate Chapter Advisor. And let me tell ya, our boys are in great hands! In just 5 years since reinstatement, Sigma Chi has turned the page and once again considered one of the top fraternities on campus. Jim’s an ole ball coach at heart who happens to wear that heart on his sleeve. He’ll hold them accountable when they’ve earned it, and he’ll love em up when they need it. He has the ear, respect and a great relationship with the undergraduates. His love for Sigma Chi is glowingly apparent and our Epsilon Nu undergraduates today are forever fortunate to have Jim White as their chapter advisor.

Under Jim’s guidance, the undergraduate chapter has elevated to the following achievements:

·        10 President’s List (4.0 GPA) - 2024

·        32 Dean’s List (3.5 GPA) - 2024

·        38 Fall 2024 Initiates

·        2024 Balfour Award Winner (Only Epsilon Nu’s 3rd)

·        2024 Homecoming King

·        1st in Intermural Football - 2024

·        1st in Intermural Basketball - 2024

·        1st in Intermural Softball -2024

Jim is a proud, patriotic, conservative American Christian. He deeply loves his family and friends. Jim is also a proud Sigma Chi. Prior to being brave enough to serve as our Chapter Advisor, Mr. White’s professional achievements include:

·        Superintendent at Colorado ISD

·        Elementary Principal, High School Principal, and Superintendent at Stanton ISD

·        Teacher/Coach at Midland ISD

·        Head Football Coach at Sands Consolidated ISD

·        Teacher/Coach at Wink-Loving ISD

·        Studied Educational Administration at Sul Ross State University

·        Studied Secondary education; history, health & PE at Texas Tech University
